| Haven't updated in over two months but really haven't had a lot going on. I finished KTIP. I've already signed my contract for next year with Mason Co. I have decided to take this summer off and not take any classes. I think I am going to start working on my Rank I in the fall. Nothing really exciting in my personal life. I'm having a Pampered Chef party on June 12. If anyone is interested or would like to order anything, let me know. That's about it. I'm patiently awaiting Friday. I cannot wait for summer to be here. Hope all is well with everyone out there reading! | | |
| Snow days are great but they are starting to get old. We have already missed 7 days and with the weather forecast, it looks like that could turn into 8 or 9 days. Right now we have added two days on the end of the year, lost the 3 days that they take off for state tournament, lost President's day, and now we are working on Spring Break. With missing today, we have to go on the Monday of Spring Break. Hopefully the weather will clear up soon. | | |
| I finished KTIP Cycle 2 today with my university mentor observing me. It all went well until two boys decided to get in a fight in my class while she was there. It truly came out of nowhere and I was beyond stunned. Luckily my KTIP person was completely understanding and knew that it had nothing to do with me. I ended up doing very well on the three observations. Now all I have left is Cycle 3 which is the unit plan and videotaping myself. We're out of school the rest of the week due to illness killing our attendance so I wll be able to work on the unit plan. Hope you all are doing well! | | |
| Alright, I need to vent and I figure this is the best place for it. I am upset with Humana Insurance. My mom has been having severe abdominal pains on and off for the past few months. They finally tested her gall bladder and found out that it was only functioning 35%. So the best thing would be for it to be removed, right? Well the only problem is that the insurance won't cover the surgery unless it is only functioning 30%. So basically my mom has to continue to suffer the pain until her gall bladder looses 5% of its' function. I'm glad this isn't a life and death situation. Okay, I am done. Hope you all are doing well. | | |
| First day back went okay. The kids were wild but that is not unusual. I am patiently waiting for January 16 to get here so Cycle 2 of KTIP can be over. I did really well on the first cycle and I'm not nervous about this one, I just want it over. Hope all is doing well! | | |
